Founder – CEO

Walt Joseph Alfred is Founder and Inventor of the Hydrogen & Electric Refueling Station (HERS), Walt graduated from American University and holds a J.D from New York Law School. Walt is the north star of the company as he leads the company’s expansion globally, connecting with investors, vendors, and partners to advance the development of the business.

Khalifa Tamer

VP of Business Development (MENA)

Khalifa Tamer spearheads the MENA business expansion for Ally Power, orchestrating collaborations with investors, partners, vendors, and end-users. holding a M.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Denver, and a M.S in Management from the University of Denver’s Daniel School of Business, Khalifa has been instrumental in establishing pivotal connections for Ally Power across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Libya. These efforts have facilitated the development and commercialization of Ally Power’s HERS throughout the MENA region.

Eduardo “Eddy” Young

Solutions Engineer

A technical leader with over 9 years of experience in solutions engineering, specializing in systems/operations, cybersecurity, networking, and sales engineering. His passion for his discipline drives his commitment to ensuring system performance and availability. He oversees our IT and cybersecurity needs, aligning business requirements with technical solutions, by leveraging leading AI, SaaS, cloud, and cybersecurity tools. As a former electrical engineer, he contributes to technical document reviews, prototyping, 3D modeling, and other technical needs, He also utilizes resources from his company, CC Solutioneer, to help us achieve our goals & support value proposition.

Zaryab Choudhry

CRO & Board Member

Zaryab is paramount to Ally Power serving as our risk officer, overseeing commercial, political and regulatory risk. Zaryab graduated from University of Maryland with a B.S in Finance and an MBA (STEM) from American University. Zaryab leads technology risk management for Capital One and facilitates engagements and program increment teams to streamline agile environments and scrum processes to build capabilities, systems, and analysis to deliver bottom line results for technical and business transformation.  

Dana White

CFO & Board Member

Dana leads Ally Power’s financial department and is the company’s designated finance/budget personnel. Dana is a C-PACE industry veteran including recaps, acquisitions, JV equity, infrastructure and renewables. With over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Dana had notable careers as VP at BNP Parabis and Nuveen Capital, where she led business development, structuring, underwriting & portfolio management of large, complex commercial real estate loans in excess of $2.5 Billion secured by all types of real estate (multi-family, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, mini-storage, marinas and land development). Dana is a CPA and has a M.S. focused on Real Estate from The Johns Hopkins University – Carey Business School.

Alexander Clayton

VP of Engineering

Alex leads design and engineering of Ally Power’s HERS process technology, playing an instrumental role in the commercialization of the reactor system. Alex graduated from Massachusetts Insitute of Technology (MIT) with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering with 8 years of experience at Exxon, where he was a machinery engineer lead. Most recently, Alex was head of reactor and heat exchange design at a leading green ammonia company. Alex leverages his expertise and experience in all aspects of commercialization of clean energy technologies, from design & engineering, welding & fabrication, to commissioning, operations and maintenance.

Ahmed Mahmoud

COO & Board Member

Ahmed oversees commercialization and operations of Ally Power’s novel clean hydrogen production technology. Ahmed plays a vital role at Ally Power, orchestrating and managing technical teams for the development of the Hydrogen and Electric Refueling Station (HERS) MVP, pilot and commercial PoC. Over the past 10 years, Ahmed has engaged in business development, operations, and manufacturing in a wide range of industries such as healthcare & life sciences, advanced technologies, energy, and industrial manufacturing where he is the Executive Director of AAI Consolidated, a family holding company.

Leonard “Ed’ Travis

VP of Business Development (APAC)

Ed Travis leads Ally Power’s expansion efforts in the Asia-Pacific and Australia regions, leveraging his extensive connections in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. With a career spanning over forty years, Ed has expertise in planning and developing green hydrogen production facilities and renewable energy projects, including land-based and floating solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, and marine energy. He has held significant roles, such as Associate Partner at Accenture, leading the strategy consulting division in Manila. Ed obtained his MS in Electrical Engineering and MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), graduating summa cum laude and ranking first in his Computer Science class. He also earned an Executive MBA from the University of Connecticut and is currently completing his PhD in Urban City Planning with a focus on Renewable Energy at the University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning.

Jeff Malcolm
Board Member

Jeff Malcolm is a Chemical Engineer with 40 years of experience in the petrochemical and plastics sectors, having worked for Hercules Incorporated, Aristech Chemical Corporation, Sunoco, Inc., Braskem Americas, and SABIC. Throughout his career, he has contributed to numerous projects, including several multi-billion dollar green-field initiatives, encompassing project development, engineering, and construction. Jeff holds a B.S in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgia State University.

Ronald Bolden Jr.

VP of Strategic Partnerships

Ronald brings over 30 years of experience in sales and business development ranging from bootstrap start-ups to multi-nationals and Fortune 100. Ronald supports Ally Power to win & bridge the gap between the goals and the actual results by providing products and automation services to fill the GAP. Ron’s consulting experience includes identification of the best AI products for the business, grow revenue through strategic partnerships and work with partners by matching the most highly skilled and best-fit products and services at the most competitive rates. Roanld graduated from Southern University, Agriculture and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge, earning his B.S in Electrical Engineering.

Paul Shultz

VP of Project Finance & Investor Relations

Paul is a highly astute financial professional specialized in emerging markets throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Paul utilizes his experience in investment management, having worked in 3 investment funds, investing in both private equity and debt instruments to support Ally Power in its fundraising journey. Paul has extensive experience in financial advisory work for both valuation (Corporate Finance, M&A) and project finance fundraising as well as corporate strategy and business development. Most recently, Paul was Head of Project Finance at OQ, the merged successor of Oman Oil and ORPIC, where he managed a portfolio of $14 Billion in existing project finance loans and led project formation and preparation for major hydrogen and solar renewable projects. Paul graduated from the prestigious, Princeton University with a B.A in International Policy Analysis. Paul was also a US Full Bright Scholar, posted in Turkey, where he has full professional proficiency in Turkish, Russian, Dutch/German & French.

Philip De Leon
VP of Global Government Affairs

Philip de Leon is an experienced policy and advocacy professional, driving business results both domestically and internationally through the policy process. Philip achieves results across the international, national, regional, and local levels, helping to grow businesses and realize strategic objectives through lobbying, engagement, thought leadership, stakeholder management, and coalition building. A team leader, Philip manages on-the-ground policy professionals both with in-house team members and external consultants. Philip has experience across the policy and business spectrum, including: ‘Fortune 500’ companies to SMEs, law firms, U.S. government agencies, startups, non-profit organizations and think-tanks. Philip is a native French speaker and also has professional proficiency in Russian, where he graduated with a M.S in Russian at the Institut National des Langues et Civillisations Orentales (Inalco). Philip also holds Masters in Law and International Law from the University of Paris and University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, respectively. Philip is currently stationed in Washinton D.C where he’s the Chairman of U.S-Tajikistan and U.S-Kyrgyzstan Business Councils.

Sehej Chadha

VP of Finance & Strategy

Sehej Chadha joins Ally Power as Vice President of Finance & Strategy, bringing over seven years of expertise in commercial real estate finance and financial management. With a strong background in strategic analysis, debt structuring, and underwriting, he will focus on shaping strategic initiatives, streamlining processes, and delivering critical insights to fuel Ally Power’s growth. His deep knowledge in risk management and dedication to sustainability will be pivotal in advancing the company’s financial health and strategic goals. Sehej is also pursuing an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A in Finance from San Jose State University.

Ervin C. Owens

Chairman

Ervin C. Owens is the Founder and CEO of the CABEL Foundation, Inc., based in Washington, D.C. With over 10 years of experience as an independent investor, Mr. Owens made a career of offering financial literacy advice to businesses and individuals.  As a firm believer in giving back to the community, he is dedicated to helping underserved youth and families achieve financial literacy. Ervin supports the board of directors in fund raising strategies and coordinates closely with the public sector to achieve non-dilutive capital for Ally Power.

Rushabh Soni

Legal Counsel

Rushabh leads Ally Power’s legal affairs. Rushabh is barred in New Jersey and is an associate at PEM Law LLP. In his current practice, he focuses on business and corporate matters involving business transactions, corporate governance, and commercial real estate. Prior to that, Rushabh served as Counsel at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in the Office of the General Counsel. Rushabh earned his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law with a concentration in corporate and securities law.
